Three Keys
Software was set up in 1992 with a view to creating a more cost effective
and efficient means of producing consistently accurate estimates for use in
the Construction Industry.
Over a three
year period some 10,000 detailed rate build-ups were produced covering the
Structural and Finishing trades. Feedback from Clients saw the need for additional
rates and over the next three years the number of rates increased to approximately
12,000 and all were converted to the new Windows version of the Buildsoft
'Global Estimating package'.
In The
Beginning: It was after many years employed as a Chief Estimator, and
then Estimating Manager, with various major Australian and International Construction
Companies, spending thousands of countless hours building up rate after rate,
that I decided there had to be a more cost effective and efficient way of
pricing projects while still being able to compete in the market place.
Using my
knowledge gained over almost 30 years, 25 years of which was in Estimating
and using 'Buildsoft's unique estimating program', I slowly began to Computerise
my rates into a workable model which all Estimators could use.
Because
all rates are built up in detail and allow the end user to change production
levels, waste factors, and profit margins, these rates are not limited to
a specific country but can be used World-wide.

Software Pty Limited has facilities to produce Detailed Estimates, Cost Plans,
and Bills of Quantities in a number of Estimating formats. We also offer an
'Overnight Service' to convert multiple job estimates from the old 'dos' version
of Buildsoft into the new Windows 98 'Global Estimating' and can transmit
these via the 'Internet' to a prospective Client provided the Client has similar
email facilities.
Data
Entry into Buildsoft: We have experienced data entry operators who can
enter your data from hard copy text into the Buildsoft Estimating Programme
and email you the results on completion.
Development
Feasibilities: Development Feasibilities can be produced from initial
sketch plans and advice given on cost restraints before committing your Company
to unnecessary and expensive Architectural costs.
Software
Solutions: Advise on Computer requirements for various software applications.
Computer Training in the 'Existing' Dos version of Buildsoft's Estimating
Program and the new Windows 98 Global Estimating version. Web page design
and production for small to medium size businesses wishing to take advantage
of the 'World Wide Web'.
Subcontractor's
Rate Files: We have the facilities to produce 'Composite Rate Files' for
use by specific trade sub-contractors using either Buildsoft's Global Estimating
program or the Offsider program.

Three
Keys Software Pty Limited has just launched its new 'Windows Version'
database of Composite Rate Files for Building Estimators and Quantity
Surveyors. Michael Richardson MP, Member for The Hills, NSW,
congratulated local entrepreneur, Trevor Moseley, today on the culmination
of many years work to produce the interactive database. “The database
works inside Buildsoft's Global Estimating Program and can speed up
the estimating process while still giving the accuracy required for
competitive, accurate tendering. This will be a much needed boon for
Building Estimators worldwide”, Mr Richardson said.
